This is a fix for one potential failure of the WP8205683 part, not a replacement. Microwave door switch would not work reliably because two plastic tabs that hold the switch in place were broken and the switch was getting pushed around. This part holds the switch in the correct place, using the existing switch holder as support. Two #4 ~1/2" long screws (which should *not* bite into the plastic of the switch itself, they should just sit inside) hold the switch in place.
