Holds project more in-line with the screw, preventing canter when tightening the clamp. Clips on to 3/4" (1" O.D.) pipe clamps so they stay in place. Ideal for wood from 5/8" to 7/8". Keeps projects off of the pipe preventing "black spots" from the glue drawing iron into the wood.
